American harpist Chloe Tula (b. 1995) is the sole Harp Fellow at New World Symphony, based in Miami Beach, Florida. A graduate of Rice University and a native of Hartford, Wisconsin, Ms. Tula has enjoyed a career spanning across the United States. Highlights of her orchestral career include performances with the San Francisco Symphony, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Houston Symphony, and the Santa Fe Opera. She has performed alongside musical legends including Yo-Yo Ma, Gil Shaham, Itzhak Perlman, and film composer and conductor John Williams. Equally active as a soloist, she has presented solo outreach series in both Texas and Florida, and has appeared as a concerto soloist with various orchestras, including the Houston Symphony and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.
As a supporter of the arts, the Cindy and Robert Friezo Foundation has worked with Chloe for many years to help support her mission to bring beautiful music to the world. At the Jimmy Choo collaboration with the New World Symphony, we were able to gift her a beautiful pair of shoes as a token of the work she does. Here’s what Chloe had to say about the foundation:
“The Jimmy Choo collaboration with New World Symphony (NWS) was an incredible evening where patrons of arts mingled and perused the beautiful collection of shoes and accessories while supporting NWS and all the work it does for the greater Miami community. Being recognized as a leading figure in Miami’s arts scene at this event was an incredible honor for me, as it validated both the work I do with the symphony and the work I do as a professional solo harpist. The Robert and Cindy Friezo Foundation recognizes the important figures and organizations in Miami and I am so happy to have been a beneficiary of their generosity.”
