Verity Partners, a global technology partner, along with the Cindy and Robert Friezo Foundation (CRFF) are proud to be a part of the first large-scale collaboration between the Miami City Ballet and New World Symphony.
Stravinsky and Balanchine: A Monumental Collaboration is performing for only two nights on Friday, Jan. 31 and Saturday, Feb. 1 at the New World Center on Miami Beach. The show is a mix of music and choreography to celebrate Igor Stravinsky and George Balanchine, two friends and icons of the 20th century. Stravinsky was a Russian composer, pianist, and conductor, and Balanchine was an American ballet choreographer.
As a member of the Board of Trustees, Robert Friezo, president of Verity and co-founder of the Friezo Foundation, first approached both iconic organizations about collaborating years ago.
“We are so proud, and humbled, that everyone was able to unite to make this historic alliance happen,” Friezo said. “My wife Cindy and I are always looking for ways to bring historic and memorable artistic pairings to the table, and the timing was right for this one.”
The New World Symphony and Miami City Ballet are a creative staple in South Florida and beyond, earning worldwide recognition for their contributions to the performing arts. Tickets for both nights are still available.
The Saturday show will feature a New World Symphony WALLCAST® concerts, which allow patrons to experience live classical music performances through visual and audio technology that includes a 7,000-square-foot projection wall. Each WALLCAST® concert is free to the public and does not require a ticket.
