The New World Symphony hosted the Havana Lyceum Orchestra. This was the first time Miami saw a Mozart concerto performed by a group of talented musicians hailing from Havana, Cuba. CRFF was proud to provide financial and logistical support to make the concert happen. A tearful occasion witnessed some musicians reuniting with their relatives stateside for the first time, as well as improving political relations across borders.
