We are proud to announce that Nathalia Arja was promoted to principal dancer after her last performance of Firebird. Nathalia is a graduate of Miami City Ballet School and one of the few dancers in the company’s history who has literally come straight from the school and grown up through the ranks. For all of us, Nathalia embodies everything that a Miami City Ballet dancer stands for. She is dedicated to her art form, loyal to her company, adores and is adored by her colleagues, an audience favorite and as importantly, has become a true role model for many of the company’s younger dancers and students in our school. I know you will join me in congratulating her and all of her achievements, and I certainly look forward to seeing her continued growth as an artist.
Firebird was a success and we congratulate all the dancers for their amazing dedication to this beautiful art form.
